You are doing your best — and you don’t have to do this alone.
I'm a qualified counsellor and a parent who has lived through the challenges of Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). When your child struggles to attend school due to school based anxiety it can take a huge toll on you too.
As a counsellor, I combine professional experience and lived insight to support parents and carers. My own journey through EBSA has shaped the way I work: with compassion, patience, and a deep respect for each unique situation.
I’m here to offer support that’s grounded in empathy, not pressure.
How I Can Help
A safe space to talk
You may be feeling helpless, frustrated, anxious, or guilty or ashamed. I offer a confidential space to speak openly, without judgement.
Understanding EBSA
Counselling can help by exploring what could be going on beneath your child’s behaviour. I believe in empowering people with knowledge and tools to help handle stress and stay connected with your child.
Looking after You
You can’t drink from an empty cup. My priority is supporting your emotional wellbeing because your needs matter too.
Empathy from someone who gets it
I offer counselling informed by lived experience of school avoidance. I understand the emotional rollercoaster you're on, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
Whether you're at breaking point or just starting to notice the signs, you're not alone, and support is available. Get in touch for a free, no-pressure conversation.
